Automatic renewal
Starter, Pro, and Power subscriptions renew monthly. The Recruiting Season Pass renews every three months. Stripe charges the payment method associated with your subscription at the beginning of each new billing period until you cancel.
Canceling a subscription
You may cancel at any time through the Orbit billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period and prevents future renewal charges. You keep access through the end of that period unless applicable law requires a different result.
Refund requests
Except where required by law or stated below, completed purchases and renewal charges are non-refundable, including for unused credits or unused time. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, did not receive the purchased service, or experienced a material technical defect, email lw3405@nyu.edu with your Orbit account email and approximate charge date.
Mandatory consumer rights
This policy does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. Some consumers may have a statutory withdrawal period for an initial digital-service purchase. Starting to use or benefit from a digital service may affect that right where the law permits and where the required consent was given at checkout.
How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are issued through Stripe to the original payment method. Processing time may depend on Stripe, your payment method, and your financial institution.
